We strongly encourage family engagement! Please see the important information below.
Parent Teacher Conferences
We welcome all of our families into our schools next week for Parent Teacher Conferences. This is your opportunity to learn about your child’s progress and foster relationships with their teachers. If you have not already signed up or planned for your participation, please reach out to your school for specific information. Conferences for all students are Monday, from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. and Tuesday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Please attend!
Family Engagement Survey
As part of our ongoing commitment to continuous improvement, we are launching our first annual Family Engagement Survey in conjunction with Parent Teacher Conferences. Student and family experiences are critically important as we work to strengthen academic outcomes, school culture, and a sense of belonging for every student. The survey is short, completely anonymous, and available in both English and Spanish. We encourage all families to take a few minutes to share their feedback as the results will help guide future decisions and will be shared with our community later this school year. Take the survey now!
Attendance Strong!
Attendance at school each day truly makes a difference. Our teachers work hard to create classrooms where every student feels a strong sense of belonging — a place to learn, grow, and build confidence alongside their peers. Even missing just a few days over the course of a school year can add up and impact a child’s progress. Recently, we’ve seen a dip in attendance across the district, with more students missing significant amounts of school. We know that winter illnesses and busy schedules can make this challenging. Your partnership makes all the difference. When students are present, they gain critical skills in reading, math, writing, and career-connected learning that build toward future success. Thank you for working with us to make daily attendance a priority whenever possible.
